Thoughts are very powerful. my main aim is not to write an article about the power of thoughts, of course, but to release my thoughts into written words, as it does us much good. I really feel at best doing so, and I believe you also expect and enjoy it. But then we all have thoughts, memories, ideas which are of varying degrees and some form of energy, which must vent out in a way or the other .Some thoughts are mixed with emotions and are best expressed as notes and melodious sounds, soothing words while some are best expressed as powerful words. Most times we might prefer to release them as written words which stirs up one reaction or the other.Your thoughts should not be held back ,they are a form of energy within you and as such should be well expressed, It is well established that in all of the universe, ‘energy can not be created nor destroyed, but can be transformed from one form to another’. At times we have within us positive emotions of love, hope, serenity and great desires and the best way for me us to achieve the greater good is to express them in a profound way.We are God’s thoughts His great ideas and a combination of His very energy and nature and as such He believes so much in us and we were never an accident. God thought about us ,spoke about His words and He went to work with His thoughts, to have a unique result-You and I! Your thoughts are unique; work on them.Great thoughts positively worked on and carefully expressed, over the past centuries have been the basis for great speeches, inventions revolutions and civilizations. Thoughts have been expressed in more impacting ways in music, as words, great works of poetry, beautiful paintings and art master piece. Great friends, put your feet into the waters, yeah! It might be cold, It’s rarely warm but you have to wade in the water and chart on another cause. For me,the month of May has been great and wonderful with work and a bit of fun, but I still had enough time to do some leisure reading, I always hope to share my monthly reading with you(for April John gray's "Men are from Mars..." Bishp.Oyedepo's" The Winning Wisdom,Fola Oyediran's "Degree is never enough" Joel Osteen's "Becoming a better You"& E.W Kenyon's "The two Kinds of LIFE" have all been a good read!) and for last month- May: Laws of wealth creation by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo was wonderful, Asha Tyson’s How I Retired at 26 was great, Kenneth Copeland’s Laws of Prosperity dazzled me and Richard Branson’s Losing My Virginity was revealing and of course the BIBLE is always my sure Manual !

In the journey to greatness and excellence , you must understand that nothing starts without a certain beginning. Everything always stems out from a Genesis. Even the heavens and earth were created from a formless and void nature. So also, every person, institution , process or existing phenomenon always have an identified beginning, initiation point and origin. The saying better is the end of a thing than the beginning draws our attention faintly to the fact that everything has a beginning.
Every one has an origin a starting point , the beginning of a line is a point, the beginning of a full grown man is an embryo and a tiny drop of water is the genesis of a mighty ocean . No matter how big or great a thing may be, it always has its origin from a definite point. You r journey to greatness must start from a set point and a good understanding of the beginning keeps you in good stance and projects you in good stead for a wonderful take- off and a good landing in your quest for greatness.
Be that as it may, beginning is always characterized by a certain level of voidness, emptiness or formlessness. The starting point could seem somewhat insignificant or appear to be rather nebulous or uncertain , however no matter its first appearance, there is actually more to the beginning than it seems.
The formlessness of a great beginning calls for a new and futuristic view of things, the voidness associated with beginning of the process demands a release of creativity and a sense of innovation, it reveals the need for a new vista .
Thus, every beginning presents a vacuum which is only filled by the creation of a new order of things, new values and taking of decisive steps or actions.

Everything great has a beginning and this is associated with a certain level of formlessness and seemly uncertainty, hence the need for creation of a new sight this could take the shape of new values, new systems,products, brands, income stream and anything that bring about a well defined vista on which greater achievements can thrive.
Never be afraid to start from the scratch, the very beginning, every great building has a foundation , which once faulty renders an edifice prone to immediate collapse and dilapidation. Go and achieve greatness in every way!

The Encarta Thesaurus defines greatness as distinction, vastness, largeness or prominence.Greatness is an exceptional quality that has really separated people and things into their different leagues.

For instance , greatness has over the years, in different fields of endeavor, separated people from themselves in terms of achievement and results. Therefore, to stand out, you must always be willing to reach for greatness.

Here are 4 Keys that will be of help to you in reaching for greatness.

1.Desire to be Great: This is the first key. Let greatness be an obsession.Yes!You must have a burning desire to excel in the exact area that means so much to you, understand the factors relating to greatness and how it will affect your results in life. Desire to be a person of great habits, choose so much to be a person of outstanding skills, strive to always exhibit great character strength, that is what our country needs at this time.

2.Begin Today : you must then begin from today to be a person of greatness by finding out what it is you can do to be great and start doing it, Never get tired, learn as much as you can and do as much as you can, this will keep you focused on the road to greatness.

3.Help Somebody Else attain Greatness: If you really want to be great, then go ahead and help somebody else become great, give them the right information, answer their puzzling questions provide the little chance you can for them to achieve their dreams and be great. Whatever you make happen for others, has a way of coming back to happen to you too.

4.Model great people: People who have achieved a certain measure of greatness at one time or the other have always had a ‘formula’ or recipe which has always worked for them, so what are you waiting for? Go ahead and study the lives of people of genuine greatness in your field, read a book about them learn all you can about them apply some of their tested principles and you would, sooner than you least expected reproduce their success without much measure of difficulty. In the words of William Shakespeare, 'Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them'. Go and achieve greatness for yourself and for Nigeria!

In this world of increasing change and explosive development, to be relevant at all one must be concerned in the area of change and development as the only constant thing in life is change itself. To be able to join the bandwagon of people who spear head change in our world, there are factors that should and must be taken into consideration. This I coined up in the word Y-E-T.

Y-You. The development of any environment depends greatly on the development of its people. This means no development can be brought about in any nation except the citizens are first developed. This development can be physical, mental, intellectual or spiritual as the case may be. Understand therefore that you are the first factor in motivating change. It has to start from you. It must first start from a change in your personal orientation, your attitude and the general understanding of your identity.

E-Environment. It is needless for us to count the number of times you have heard that charity begins at home. So if you must change your nation and your world at large, it has to start in your immediate environment. For instance, for our nation to be clean it must start from your room, your hostel, your compound, your street etc.You must understand that your immediate environment is your first contact with the rest of the world.

T-Time. ‘Time’ again ‘is the greatest equalizer’. Only few people realize that the rich and the poor, the small and the great all have the same leverage of time -24hours in a day, but the major difference is how each one utilizes this great resource called time. You need to understand how rich you are, in a single day you have 86,400 seconds or 1,440 minutes i.e. 24 hours! It is therefore not about how much time you have but the quality of activities you put into the time you have.

These three factors are very instrumental to personal development of a particular people at a particular time and there is more to each of them than meets the eyes. Each of them needs to be treated under the lens of careful and detailed observation.

Knowing who You really are, in respect to the understanding of your environment, and managing your most vital resource of time, can change your entire life by leaps and bounds both now and in many years to come.

I have today set out to write a deep and golden thought on a quote from a selected speaker and facilitator,Fela Durotoye,who really believes the concept “ Dream Big, Start Small and Grow Fast”.
This is actually true. And these few lines are dedicated to proving to you the importance of this cliché

You need to dream big
First of all, whether you’re starting your own small business or a big venture, you need a dream; this is because if you cannot see it, you can not lay hold on it. Dreaming is putting your mind on the reality of a pursuit trying to picture the future of your enterprise within your grasp and seeing how you practically feature in it, therefore never set sail without a dream.
Having ascertained the need for a dream.
YES! I need ask you what kind of dreams you have. Besides having dreams, you also need a big dream to drive and motivate you.
Your achievements in any pursuits will depend greatly on efforts you put into it and this will be greatly proportional to the size of the dream you already have.

So start with a dream. Make it big and move on.

Thank God you made it!
